EBS Comes to Life
Frank Swiger is the core of Electronic Business Systems. An electrical engineer, Frank started out designing and repairing circuit boards for ABOL Systems. After many years with ABOL, Frank had a reputation for being able to handle the toughest troubleshooting cases. This made travel one of the largest components of his job. Meanwhile computing technology was rapidly evolving. Service calls morphed from simple board repair to troubleshooting more and more complex computer systems – software, hardware and networking. When ABOL merged its Vancouver site with its Seattle headquarters, Frank and is family decided it was time to cut out the extensive travel from his life and they remained in Vancouver, taking over the former ABOL site. EBS was born.
As you probably have noticed by now, there is a large gap in the technology support you can find out there. Individuals can have their fairly simple needs met by the local computer guy. Large companies can afford the luxury of an in-house IT department.
We specialize on the technology needs of our small business customers
We have been supporting small businesses’ needs for over two decades. We understand there is no one-size-fits-all. Our goal is for your business to be able to use its technology seamlessly – whether that means two computers, one printer, and dial-up or a network replete with servers, shared printers, and remote users. We want you to be able to focus on what makes you money – and that is probably not learning how to hand out IP addresses or make Windows play nice with your other software.
We want your company’s information to be safe, accessible and protected from loss
We understand that your company is only as secure as your information. It’s a nasty world out there with viruses, phishing, and spyware and we want you protected!
Our first priority is that your information is for trusted eyes only. We will ensure that you have the required security software to protect your data and that your technology is implemented to prevent unauthorized access.
Our second focus is accessibility of data. We give you solutions that allow your communication and data access to be as effortless as possible – in the manner that works for you.
The last concern, and usually the most overlooked, is loss protection. Hard drives fail. Servers crash. An employee has an ‘oops’ moment. When that happens, will you be able to retrieve your information? Backup procedures are a must and we will work to find a solution that ensures it gets done.
Our expertise is broad
Our clientele includes many different specialties: commercial construction, real estate, insurance, accounting, law practices, and more. This broad experience means we will be able to assist you in your company’s special needs.
But what about your small business?
You can’t afford to let your friend’s son (he’s a genius!) practice on your network. Or even the local computer guy. Let’s face it – their education, hit and miss, happens on your dime.
You need the experience of an IT crew, but without the extraordinary overhead.
Most importantly, you need to know your company’s data will be safe and accessible to you. And only you.
That’s where EBS comes in.
